The centre of Alcantara is about 700 m away. Alcántara Roman Bridge, the Convent of San Benito, Santa María de Almocovar Church, the Jose María de Oriol Dam and the River Tajo are located in the vicinity and can be easily reached on foot (a 15 to 20-minute walk). Cáceres is about a 45-minute drive away.
