Location
The hotel is located in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings of the Hakone National Park, Japan's most popular resort area. It is a leisurely 20-minute walk from the Hakone Mountain Railway, and has easy access to the Hakone Open Air Museum, the Hakone Cable Car and Ropeway, and Lake Ashi. To the north-west of the hotel stands Japan's premier landmark, Mount Fuji. The hotel is a few minutes on foot (5 minutes by taxi) from Kowakidani station on the Hakone Mountain Railway - accessible by changing from the Odakyu Railway from Tokyo (Shinjuku Station) or the Bullet Train from Tokyo (Tokyo or Shinagawa Station). It also is reachable within a 40-minute ride by a local bus from Odawara Station (accessible from Tokyo by Odakyu railway or Bullet Train as above).
