The town itself is 11 km from Vilagarcia de Arousa and the beach at Isla de Arousa, 61 km from Santiago and 65 km from Vigo. The town's attractive port offers travellers one charming point of access. And for those travelling by road, access is provided by the C-550 highway from Pontevedra or by the A-9 motorway, taking the Cambados exit and continuing along the Salnes expressway.
